Jellyrolls Dueling Piano Bar is Leaving Disney’s BoardWalk

A beloved staple of Disney’s BoardWalk is making a move. Jellyrolls, the iconic dueling piano bar that has entertained Disney Vacation Club Members and guests for nearly three decades, confirmed today on Instagram that they will be leaving their current location later this spring.

The statement from Jellyrolls read:

“After nearly thirty years on Disney’s BoardWalk, Jellyrolls is making a move! Come celebrate with us into the spring season and keep your eyes on our social media for exciting new updates!”

A New Location on the Horizon?

While Jellyrolls has confirmed their departure, the biggest question remains: where are they going? The language of their announcement suggests a relocation rather than a closure, but no details have been shared on a new venue just yet. Could Jellyrolls be moving to another area of Walt Disney World Resort? Unfortunately, Scott Gustin put this thought to rest stating on X, “Jellyrolls suggested they might reopen in a new location – but I did confirm the new location will not be on Walt Disney World property.

A BoardWalk Staple

For nearly 30 years, Jellyrolls has been an institution at Disney’s BoardWalk. Known for its high-energy dueling piano performances, incredible showmanship, and audience participation, Jellyrolls has provided unforgettable nights for thousands of guests. Whether you were singing along to classic tunes, enjoying one of their signature drinks, or watching the waitstaff dance along with the music, Jellyrolls offered a unique experience that kept guests coming back for more.

Named one of Esquire’s Best Bars in America in 2023, Jellyrolls is renowned for its talented musicians, interactive entertainment, and lively atmosphere. The venue’s expert pianists could take on nearly any song request, from oldies to today’s biggest hits, making every night a different and exciting experience.

What’s Next for Jellyrolls?

With its departure from the BoardWalk, speculation is already swirling about where Jellyrolls could land next. This also furthers a large hole on this side of the BoardWalk left by Jellyrolls and the previously departed Big River Grill.

While no details have been confirmed, many fans hope for a relocation rather than a farewell. Where in the Orlando area would you like to see Jellyrolls move to?

For now, guests still have time to enjoy the magic of Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk before it closes this spring. So, if you’re visiting soon, be sure to stop by, grab a drink, and sing along one last time at its original location!

I hate to see Jellyrolls leave. Love the great talent there! May need to schedule a quick trip before it leaves.
Certainly hope it moves to another location!

I would hope Disney Springs. To me it’s the best option for the company and the fans.

As is boardwalk owner I hate to see this go. Disney seriously needs to do something to keep this side of boardwalk interesting.
