Discover the Hidden Gem of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort: The Treehouse Villas

Are you a Disney Vacation Club member or an avid Disney fan seeking a unique and tranquil escape within the magic of Walt Disney World? Look no further than the underrated Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas. Tucked away in a serene, wooded area, these villas offer the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, making them an excellent choice for your next Disney vacation.

Why the Treehouse Villas Stand Out

Spacious and Affordable

One of the most compelling reasons to consider staying at the Treehouse Villas is the value they offer. Each villa features three bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to nine guests. Starting at just 38 points per night, the Treehouse Villas are a steal compared to the Standard Grand Villas at Saratoga Springs, which start at 62 points per night and accommodate up to 12 guests. While the Grand Villas are more spacious, the Treehouse Villas still provide ample room for a larger family or group at a significantly lower point cost.

Unique Features and Amenities

The Treehouse Villas come equipped with a full kitchen, allowing you to prepare your meals and save on dining expenses. The large elevated outdoor deck is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in the surrounding nature.

One of the standout features of these villas is the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that make you feel like you’re truly in the trees. The high ceilings, wooden beams, and overall rustic feel add to the charm, making it a cozy yet luxurious retreat. Plus, the Treehouse Villas are standalone units, meaning you won’t share walls with strangers, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay.

Aside from a fully equipped kitchen, there is a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The main bathroom has a jetted soaking tub and is located inside the large walk in shower.

Privacy and Tranquility

If you’re looking for a quiet and private getaway, the Treehouse Villas are the ideal choice. Located in their own section at Saratoga Springs, these villas offer a level of seclusion that’s hard to find in other Disney accommodations. The Treehouse area even has its own pool, adding another layer of exclusivity and convenience.

Things to Consider

Location and Accessibility

While the Treehouse Villas offer numerous advantages, there are some drawbacks to keep in mind. The location is somewhat secluded, and it’s easiest to stay here if you have a car. There are no sidewalks or pathways, so you may find yourself walking on the road to get around. However, the area does have two bus stops and its own boat launch, providing some options for transportation.

Upcoming Refurbishments

Although the Treehouse Villas are currently in great shape, they are slated for a refurbishment soon. This means you can look forward to even more updated and enhanced features in the near future.

Convenient Proximity

Despite the secluded feel, the Treehouse Villas are conveniently close to Disney Springs and the rest of Saratoga Springs. You can easily walk to these areas, making it simple to enjoy all the dining, shopping, and entertainment options available.

Final Thoughts

The Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas are a hidden gem that offers a unique, tranquil, and affordable option for Disney Vacation Club members and Disney enthusiasts alike. With their spacious accommodations, charming features, and unbeatable value, they are an excellent choice for those looking to experience a different side of Disney magic.

We stayed at the Treehouse Villa’s on our first WDW vacation back in the late 90’s. It was great. Plenty of room for everyone. If I remember right there was a bedroom downstairs, but I don’t think that is there anymore. Happy to see them part of the SSR DVC inventory. Thinking about a stay just for old times sake!
