Today, October 15, 2024, marks the first day that current DVC members who own at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows—including both direct and resale owners—can book their stay at the highly anticipated Island Tower. This new addition to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort opens for stays starting December 17, 2024.
How to Book Today
For today’s booking window, reservations are only available by phone. Members who own at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can call Member Services beginning at 9:00 AM EST to secure their stay using points. Online booking is not available at this time, and there is no official announcement yet on when it will be opened for online reservations.
Key Upcoming Booking Dates
While current Polynesian owners can start booking today, there are two key upcoming dates when additional booking windows will open:
- November 5, 2024: New DVC members who have purchased at the Island Tower will be eligible to book their stay with points. This marks the first opportunity for new buyers to secure their vacation at this exciting new addition.
- November 19, 2024: All DVC members, regardless of their home resort, will be able to book stays at the Polynesian Island Tower using points.
What We Know So Far
Although no specific date has been confirmed for when online booking will be available, we expect it to align with either the November 5th or November 19th key dates. Today’s phone-only booking window for Polynesian owners will likely give Member Services a chance to manage the initial rush of reservations before opening it up to a wider audience in the coming weeks. Or perhaps give them a chance to work out the inevitable IT kinks this will bring to the DVC website.
