Not a day goes by in the DVC Fan Facebook group that someone doesn’t ask about the possible reopening of Top of the World Lounge. Located in Bay Lake Tower, this lounge was exclusive to all DVC members and their guests. Direct or resale status didn’t matter for lounge access, but members did have to be staying on property. It was well-loved and offered some of the best fireworks views and chocolate cake on property.
With a closure extending over two years now, for many, the possibility of a reopening seemed all but hopeless. The webpage for Top of the World had been removed from the Disney Vacation Club website. This didn’t seem like a good sign. Alas, our faith has been restored and we are excited for what lies ahead for this beloved lounge.
In what we can best describe as a teaser in the member insider, with a little information, it seems a strong rumor that Top of the World Lounge at Disney’s Bay Lake Tower will be reopening soon. The exact dates have not been specifically announced, but we are led to believe it will be reopening very soon.

April 22, 2022I’m new to DVC so I apologize for the very basic question! My family of three are staying at the Riviera (very excited as that’s where we bought and this is our first stay there!) can we use the Top of the World Lounge or do we have to be staying at Bay Lake Tower?
