Disney has elected to delay the scheduled reopening of The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa originally set for December 6th.
Earlier today, DVC released some additional information for those guests planning to visit the Grand Californian during its initial reopening period.

Six months. That is how long The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Ko Olino, Hawaii, have been closed. Mixed messages and changing restrictions on both state and local levels have plagued both resorts’ reopening plans. We thought it was about time we dig into when we might see these Disney Vacation Club Resorts open their doors.
The Disneyland Resort just announced that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will not reopen on July 17th as anticipated.
DVC Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian has proposed a July 23rd reopening for members and guests, pending state and local government approvals.
