If you could enjoy one final Disney meal with no budget, no calorie count, and absolutely no limits, what would make the cut?
That was the deliciously impossible question on this week’s episode of The DVC Show, as Paul, Amy, Derek, and Jeff assembled their dream “last Disney meal.” Inspired by popular “last meal” challenges, each host built a menu featuring drinks, appetizers, entrées, and desserts from across Walt Disney World.

Drinks That Perfectly Capture a Disney Vacation
One surprising theme emerged almost immediately.
If this truly was everyone’s final Disney meal, many of the drinks would come from EPCOT’s World Showcase.
Amy leaned toward refreshing non-alcoholic favorites, highlighting the peach bubble milk tea from Joy of Tea in the China Pavilion alongside both versions of Spice Road Table’s mint tea. Even surrounded by cocktails, those refreshing options easily held their own.
Jeff took a more international route with the Peach Smash from the Canada Pavilion during EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival, the cider and black currant beverage from Rose & Crown, and the tropical Tokyo Sunset from Teppan Edo.
Derek’s choices reflected years of Disney bar hopping. His list included the spicy cucumber cocktail from La Cava del Tequila, Kungaloosh beer from Skipper Canteen and Nomad Lounge, a Disney bourbon flight at Il Mulino’s Gio Bar, and Stone Delicious IPA from Baseline Tap House.
Paul embraced both luxury and tradition. His Holiday Old Fashioned from Enchanted Rose has become a Christmas tradition, while his oversized grapefruit Schöfferhofer from Germany was chosen simply because sometimes bigger really is better during a long stroll around World Showcase.
The running joke became whether anyone could survive drinking all these beverages before finishing the meal itself.
Sanaa Bread Service Was the Clear Appetizer Champion

Nearly everyone agreed that Sanaa’s Bread Service belongs on Disney’s culinary Mount Rushmore.
Fresh naan paired with an assortment of flavorful accompaniments has become one of Walt Disney World’s signature appetizers, and multiple hosts admitted they’d gladly order several servings before anything else even arrived.
Jeff jokingly remained the outlier when it came to loving every sauce, but even he couldn’t deny the popularity of the dish.

The entrée round revealed just how differently everyone approaches Disney dining.
Paul immediately chose the entire Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue experience rather than simply selecting a single entrée.
For him, it wasn’t just about fried chicken, ribs, cornbread, unlimited sangria, or all-you-care-to-enjoy comfort food. It was about the atmosphere, nostalgia, and the performers who have made Hoop-Dee-Doo one of Walt Disney World’s most beloved dinner shows for decades.
Then, because there were no rules, he followed it up with what could only be described as the ultimate steakhouse feast at Bourbon Steak at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, including a massive dry-aged cowboy ribeye, Wagyu, lobster tails, and every side dish available.
Derek’s selections leaned heavily toward nostalgic favorites that Disney no longer serves. His beloved barbecue beef filet from the original California Grill made another appearance, reminding everyone that sometimes the meals we miss are even more memorable than the ones still available today.
Amy’s menu showcased the incredible variety Disney dining now offers. From Rosa Mexicano’s lobster quesadilla and Narcoossee’s Gulf shrimp bucatini to Flying Fish scallops, Jiko’s bobotie mac and cheese, Earl of Sandwich’s seasonal turkey sandwich, and The Boathouse’s Connecticut-style lobster roll, her list covered everything from signature dining to quick-service classics.
Jeff stayed true to his reputation as the group’s steak enthusiast while also mentioning Disneyland favorites and even tossing in Planet Hollywood’s nostalgic Captain Crunch Chicken Tenders for good measure.
One of the more entertaining conversations centered around foods that no longer taste quite as magical as everyone remembers, proving nostalgia often seasons a meal just as much as the chef.

By dessert, the hosts were already pretending they had somehow survived this enormous meal.

Derek couldn’t resist ordering multiple servings of Pongu Lumpia from Pandora before adding Nomad Lounge churros, a classic Mickey Ice Cream Bar, and Palo’s famous chocolate soufflé, wisely noting that experienced cruisers know to order it at the beginning of dinner so it’s ready when dessert arrives.
Paul closed things out with one of Walt Disney World’s most underrated desserts.
Rather than choosing the famous bread pudding from ‘Ohana, he went with the coconut-pineapple bread pudding at Sebastian’s Bistro, arguing it’s the superior version. Add in Summer House’s pink frosted cookie and Salt & Straw’s strawberry and black pepper ice cream, and his dessert course perfectly balanced nostalgia with newer Disney offerings.
More Than a Food Draft
What made this episode especially entertaining wasn’t simply hearing everyone’s favorite menu items.
It was listening to the stories attached to them.
