Paul lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Amy, and their three Spanish galgos, Hermès, Cinders, and Emerson. They’re Disney Vacation Club Members at five resorts, Disney World Annual Passholders, and always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy and maximize their DVC points. When he’s not at the parks or planning their next trip, Paul loves cooking (big Alton Brown fan), training for Disney races with Amy, and blasting Billy Joel in the background.

    It would be nice to know if these less than stellar guides are new or established. Is it possible they are new and are still using old tactics?

    Our initial tour was bad.
    I told our guide we weren’t ready to buy that day but she just kept pushing.
    After the initial meeting, I asked to see the model rooms and she acted like I was putting her out. And was annoyed to show us.

    When we were ready to buy I called that guide and couldn’t get a hold of her. We finally got a hold of a guide and talked to Gib McCain and he was great!
    He was so much better than our original guide.

    We had Marcel Maritz for our DVC guide and I couldn’t have been more pleased. He was absolutely amazing.
