March 23, 2020Just an FYI, if you are just using current use year points that were booked at the 7 month point, and you have a June use year, I was told too bad. My reservation at the Polynesian is May 1-May 8 and if I cancel or get cancelled, if I can’t rebook within the following 23 days I am losing 187 points. Because June use year requires banking in January, I was told Disney is showing no mercy regarding this. So I can’t cancel and rebook in say, August or Sept. I have to eat those points. I don’t see how it can create a logjam because not everyone will be re-booking right away and it’s no different than regular booking. Either there’s availability or not.

March 23, 2020Possibly but would I get them back to use ata dvc resort? We don’t stay at RCI resorts simply because we want to stay at a WDW villa. It’s my understanding that Disney controls the rules regarding points. They are usable at RCI resorts but RCI doesn’t make the rules
