Now it’s your turn! Vote and let us know in the comments your reasons for choosing BoardWalk or Riviera. We will share the results in an upcoming article on DVCFan.com!
Paul lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Amy, and their three Spanish galgos, Hermès, Cinders, and Emerson. They’re Disney Vacation Club Members at five resorts, Disney World Annual Passholders, and always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy and maximize their DVC points. When he’s not at the parks or planning their next trip, Paul loves cooking (big Alton Brown fan), training for Disney races with Amy, and blasting Billy Joel in the background.

I prefer Riviera but BW is my second choice.

Boardwalk for all the reasons stated on the show; proximity to Epcot, dining/entertainment and the lack of resale restrictions. I am not likely to stay at RR based on the number of points it takes to stay there and the resale restrictions make owing there a non-starter for me. I do however look forward to dining at Toppolino’s.

Riviera, beautiful, classy, close to the skylines means DHS and EPCOT are both close.

There is no question, purchase at BWV , as I’m predisposed to theming and walk-to-two-parks.
I wouldn’t mind staying at Riviera someday, but the point cost and location are strikes against it. I don’t mind the gondola’s, but I would include all other on property resorts, except Saratoga and Key West , as places I would stay first.

Long time BWV owner here. I wanted to add on at Riviera, but chose not to do so. For me, the point charts were way too high, as were the maintenance fees. The resale restrictions were also a concern, but I probably could have gotten over that.
BWV are such a value, especially considering the superior location! Happily, it’s just a short stroll over to the gondolas to catch a ride to dinner at Topolinos.
