CONFIRMED: HUGE Disney Vacation Club Price Increase Coming Soon!

UPDATE 11/17/22: In the most recent release of Disney Vacation Club promos and incentives, these upcoming price increases have been confirmed!

We’ve heard from multiple sources that a significant Disney Vacation Club price increase is on the way for most resorts! Current selling properties like Riviera, Grand Floridian, and Aulani could see a $10 per point increase. Additional price increases are also expected for most sold-out Disney Vacation Club resorts!

These mark some of the most significant increases we’ve seen in recent years. They also come ahead of the busy holiday season, which is one of Disney Vacation Club’s most successful sales seasons.

Direct vs. Resale DVC Price Comparison

It is now becoming harder and harder to ignore the huge savings associated with purchasing a DVC resale contract. With Annual Passes still unavailable for Disney Vacation Club Members at this time, the savings and appeal of purchasing a direct contract have drastically decreased.

Here’s a look at the current difference between direct and average resale pricing, taking these new increases into consideration:

  • Looks like your formula for the variance of resale vs direct on Boulder Ridge is wrong. Should be $91 not $891.

  • If the economy keeps going the way it is, prices will come down

  • Well the price point comparison is not really accurate as you dont get the Interval International with Resale. Not that, that means anything. You cannot book anywhere within Int Intl anytime soon or anywhere for that matter. i have tried and nothing comes up. Nor does DVC respond.

  • With only a handful of exceptions it amounts to a 5% increase, which is not huge by any measure.
