From character dining to sampling flavors from around the world, Disney’s culinary offerings add a touch of enchantment to your trip. But arranging your Disney Dining Plan previously meant a call to DVC Member Services, which, let’s face it, could sometimes be time-consuming.
Well, after a little delay thanks to Disney IT, we have some fantastic news to report that now makes this process much easier: Disney Vacation Club Members can now add the Disney Dining Plan directly through their online Member Dashboard!
Yes, you read that correctly. What once required a phone call can now be done with a few simple clicks. This user-friendly change allows members to add a dining plan to their reservation without having to dial DVC Member Services. All you need is your DVC account, your upcoming reservation, and a credit card for payment.
How to Add the Disney Dining Plan as a DVC Member
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through the process:
- Log in to your DVC Member Dashboard.
- Look for your upcoming reservations. Under each reservation, you’ll find a variety of trip options.
- Click on the button that says “Purchase Dining Plan”. This will lead you to a page dedicated to Disney Dining Plans.
- Once there, you’ll see a list of available Disney Dining Plans. Each one will have a brief description, making it easy to choose the plan that best fits your party’s dining preferences and needs.
- Select the type of dining plan you want to add to your reservation.
- After selecting your dining plan, you’ll be guided through a secure payment process.
Currently, the online system only allows payment via credit card. Simply input your card details, review the purchase, and click ‘Purchase Dining Plan’ to complete the process. Once you’re done, you’ll receive a confirmation email summarizing your purchase.

The Disney Dining Plan comes in tiers, with prices starting at $57 per night for adults and $23 for kids:
Quick-Service Dining Plan
- Adults: $57 per night
- Children: $23.83 per night
Disney Dining Plan
- Adults: $94.28 per night
- Children: $29.69 per night
Purchasing the Disney Dining Plan for some DVC Members is an excellent way to pre-budget your meals and streamline your dining experience during your visit. And now, with this new online option, it’s even easier to feast your way through your Disney vacation.
The Disney Dining Plan can be added to stays with check-in dates after January 9th, 2024.
