Temporary Changes Coming to Star View Station Member Lounge at Disneyland Park

Disney Vacation Club Members visiting Disneyland Park this summer will want to take note of a temporary change coming to one of the park’s most popular Member perks.

Disney Vacation Club has announced that Star View Station – A Member Lounge at Disneyland Park will temporarily close beginning July 27, 2026, for routine maintenance work. The lounge is currently scheduled to reopen sometime in fall 2026.

But don’t worry — DVC Members will still have a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a break from the park!

A Temporary DVC Member Lounge Is Coming to Starcade

During the Star View Station closure, Disney Vacation Club will offer a temporary lounge space inside Starcade, located in Tomorrowland near the exit of Space Mountain.

Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members visiting during the closure period will still be able to enjoy many of the same lounge benefits, including:

  • Comfortable seating
  • Complimentary beverages
  • Complimentary snacks
  • A dedicated space to cool off and relax during a Disneyland day

The temporary Starcade lounge location is scheduled to operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., though hours are subject to change. Standard Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge eligibility requirements and rules will continue to apply.

Utilizing a Forgotten Park Space

Longtime Disneyland fans may recognize Starcade as a nostalgic location that once housed a two-story arcade filled with classic games. This temporary setup is a fun little throwback for Disney Parks history fans. Largely unused in recent years apart from the occasional private event, it is good to see this portion of the park being utilized again.

Even if it’s only temporary, giving Members a chance reason to step inside Starcade feels like a win.

Planning a Disneyland Trip This Summer?

If you have a Disneyland Resort visit planned after July 27, 2026, make sure to head to Starcade instead of Star View Station for your DVC lounge break.

No exact reopening date has been announced beyond fall 2026, but we’ll keep an eye out for updates as Disney Vacation Club completes the maintenance work. We’ll also share photos of the temporary lounge set up once it opens.

Are you excited for a chance to revisit Starcade, or will you miss taking your mid-day break inside Star View Station? Let us know your thoughts on the DVC Fan Forums or the DVC Fan Facebook group!
