Disney Vacation Club Adds Poolside Splash Bash Member Perks at Disneyland Resort This Summer

Disneyland Hotel Pool

Disney Vacation Club Members visiting Disneyland Resort this summer will have another opportunity to enjoy a little extra Membership Magic. From July 2 through September 6, 2026, Disney Vacation Club is presenting the Disney Poolside Splash Bash, an interactive pool party experience taking place at all three Disneyland Resort hotels.

While the event is open to both Disney Vacation Club Members and Disneyland Resort hotel guests, eligible Members can also take advantage of a few exclusive offerings that add even more value to a summer resort stay.

It’s another example of Disney Vacation Club continuing to sprinkle smaller Member experiences throughout the year. These events may not be headline-grabbing announcements, but they often become memorable moments that enhance an already great vacation.

What You Need to Know

  • Available Thursdays and Sundays from July 2nd through September 6th, 2026
  • No pre-registration required
  • Open to Disney Vacation Club Members and Disneyland Resort hotel guests of all ages
  • Features a 30-minute interactive poolside celebration with Disney Pixar characters, music, games, and trivia

What Is the Disney Poolside Splash Bash?

The Disney Poolside Splash Bash is designed as a family-friendly, 30-minute poolside celebration featuring music, movement, trivia, and appearances from favorite Disney Pixar characters.

Rather than being a formal show, the experience encourages guests to participate, making it a fun midday break whether you’re spending the day relaxing at your resort or taking an afternoon away from the parks.

Grand Californian Pool

The event rotates between all three Disneyland Resort hotel pools on each event day:

ResortTime
Disneyland Hotel – E-Ticket Pool11:00 a.m. PT
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – Fountain Pool2:15 p.m. PT
Pixar Place Hotel – Pixel Pool4:00 p.m. PT

After participating, guests can stop by a Disney Vacation Club Cast Member to receive a voucher for a complimentary pool party keepsake while supplies last.

Member-Exclusive Perks

Eligible Disney Vacation Club Members who qualify for Membership Extras can also enjoy two additional benefits on event days.

At noon, Members can visit Discovery Den inside The Villas at Disneyland Hotel for an exclusive Disney Pixar character photo opportunity. For Members already staying at Disneyland Hotel or visiting the Discovery Den, this provides another fun reason to stop by between pool activities.

Members can also redeem an event coupon for a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage at Palm Breeze Bar at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.

To participate in these exclusive offerings, Members should bring:

  • A valid Digital Membership Card
  • Government-issued photo ID
  • An event coupon

No Registration Required

One of the nicest aspects of this event is its simplicity.

Unlike some Member-exclusive offerings that require advance reservations or virtual queues, the Poolside Splash Bash does not require pre-registration. Guests simply show up at the scheduled time at their resort pool.

As always, Disney notes that entertainment, keepsakes, event dates, and other offerings remain subject to change or cancellation.

A Nice Addition to Summer Membership Magic

While this isn’t a major Member event on the scale of Moonlight Magic, it’s exactly the kind of experience that can make a resort day feel a little more special.

Many Disney Vacation Club Members build pool time into every vacation, especially during the warmer summer months. Offering live entertainment, interactive games, exclusive character experiences, and a few Member-only perks helps create memorable moments without requiring guests to significantly alter their vacation plans.

From our perspective, it’s encouraging to see Disney Vacation Club continue introducing smaller Membership Magic opportunities like this. Not every Member benefit needs to be a large-ticket event. Sometimes these limited-time experiences become the unexpected highlights of a trip, especially for families enjoying a resort day between park visits.

The timing is also particularly interesting for those planning a Southern California vacation around D23 weekend. With many Disney fans expected to be visiting the Disneyland Resort during that period, the Poolside Splash Bash could make for a fun addition to a resort day outside the convention festivities. It’s certainly one we’ll be hoping to check out while we’re on the West Coast.

Whether you’re staying at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or Pixar Place Hotel, this summer offering is another reminder that some of the best Disney Vacation Club experiences happen outside the theme parks.
