Watching EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular from inside the park is always memorable, but what is it like to experience Luminous: The Symphony of Us from the water? In this episode of Never Have I Ever, Jeff and Derek check an EPCOT Fireworks Cruise off their Disney bucket list, departing from Disney’s BoardWalk and cruising across Crescent Lake before settling into a prime viewing location on World Showcase Lagoon for the show.
Along the way, they share their first impressions of the private cruise experience, discuss whether the premium price delivers enough value, and compare it to more traditional ways of watching EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular. Thanks to DVC Fan community member Rick for the invitation, viewers get an inside look at one of Walt Disney World’s more unique recreation offerings and whether it’s an experience they’d recommend for a special celebration, family vacation, or future Disney trip.

July 9, 2026We do the EPCOT private cruise every time we host friends/family – really enjoy it!

July 9, 2026We have done both the Epcot Fireworks Cruise and the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise. We enjoyed both, but agreed that the Epcot version was really something special! In our opinion, it was worth every dollar spent! There is also a DVC discount, which we took advantage of.

July 9, 2026It looks really cool! However, please tell Jeff and Derrick to tone down the “we would pay twice what this costs” comments. I’m sure Disney would be happy to oblige 😂
