Disney Confirms Additional Fall 2026 DVC Moonlight Magic Dates

UPDATE – September 21, 2026: Well, we can officially stop calling these dates a rumor.

Disney Vacation Club has now confirmed three additional 2026 DVC Moonlight Magic dates for this fall, including one night at EPCOT and two events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Even better, eligible Members will be allowed to register for one of these additional events even if they already attended a Moonlight Magic event earlier in 2026.

The newly confirmed events are:

• EPCOT: Thursday, October 15, 2026
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Monday, November 30, 2026
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Tuesday, December 22, 2026

Early registration for all three events opens September 24, 2026, followed by general registration on October 1, 2026.

Confirmed Fall 2026 DVC Moonlight Magic Dates

The confirmed late-2026 DVC Moonlight Magic schedule is:

As with all Moonlight Magic events, registration is required and availability is limited.

The EPCOT date is an especially interesting addition. When I first stumbled across the Fall registration queue, I joked that my mind immediately went to the possibility of a holiday Moonlight Magic event at EPCOT.

Well, I did get EPCOT, just not quite during Festival of the Holidays.

October 15th, however, does fall during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which means food coupons for food booths! I’ll chalk that up as a win.

The two later events return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which has traditionally been home to many of Disney Vacation Club’s late year Moonlight Magic events.

In 2025, DVC added three late season Animal Kingdom events on October 29, November 18 and December 15, so the return of Animal Kingdom in November and December 2026 certainly fits the pattern we have seen in recent years.

The December 22 date is particularly notable simply because of how close it falls to Christmas. That gives DVC Members visitng for the holidays a Moonlight Magic event just three days before Christmas Day!

Registration for the Additional 2026 DVC Moonlight Magic Events

Disney Vacation Club has also confirmed registration dates for all three newly added Moonlight Magic events.

Early Registration opens September 24, 2026 for eligible Members with qualifying Resort reservations. This early registration window applies to the October 15 EPCOT event as well as the November 30 and December 22 events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Qualifying Resort reservations and any modifications, including changes to the number of guests on the reservation, had to be completed by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on September 20, 2026. Increasing the party size on a Resort reservation after that deadline will not increase the number of guests eligible to attend Moonlight Magic.

General Registration opens October 1, 2026 for all eligible Members, although availability will be limited.

Eligible Members may register for one of the additional Fall 2026 Moonlight Magic events even if they already attended a Moonlight Magic event earlier in 2026.

As always, event and registration dates are subject to change.

What About Moonlight Magic in 2027?

For now, Disney Vacation Club has not announced any Moonlight Magic dates for 2027.

This is traditionally around the time of year when Members begin watching for the following year’s schedule, but Disney’s latest update is focused entirely on these three additional Fall 2026 events.

We’ll continue watching for the 2027 Moonlight Magic schedule and will share those dates as soon as Disney Vacation Club releases them.
