UPDATE: In addition to the previously announced DVC Moonlight Magic dates at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney has added an extra event on Thursday – September 8th!
Disney Vacation Club just gave us a summer surprise announcing Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!
Members will have the opportunity to attend this member exclusive event at Typhoon Lagoon on the following dates this summer:
- Tuesday – August 9th, 2022
- Monday – August 15th, 2022
- Tuesday – August 23rd, 2022
- Thursday – September 8th, 2022
This exclusive event for DVC members and their guests features complimentary refreshments, exclusive character meet-and-greets, access to select attractions with shorter-than-usual wait times, and a DJ dance party.
The initial reservation period for the originally announced dates has passed. General reservations open to all Members for August 9th, 15th, and 23rd will begin on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, at 11:00 am, EST, pending availability.
To register for the September 8th event, Members must have an existing resort reservation at either Walt Disney World or Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, with a travel party finalized before Sunday, August 7th, 2022, by 11:59 pm. Event registration is done through an online virtual queue and begins at 11:00am, EST on Thursday, August 11th, 2022.
Party size is limited to a Member and up to 4 additional guests, for a total of 5 tickets total, or the total number of guests on the resort reservation. Children under three years old do not need to be registered to attend.

General registration for the September 8th date will open to all Members will begin on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 at 11:00 am, EST, pending availability.
Please note that Moonlight Magic is considered a Disney Vacation Club – Membership Extra and can only be booked by direct members with a valid blue membership card.

August 2, 2022Just got our room booked for 8/15 to go to the event at Typhoon Lagoon. So excited to come and relax after moving 2 kids in to 2 different colleges in 2 different states in the 13th and 14th. Really hope we get a spot!!
