This week we are asking you to vote which DVC Resort is the best destination for the “foodie” at heart. We will feature the results on an upcoming episode of The DVC Show!

BCV has Cape May, Beaches and Creme, Ale & Compass, not to mention the close proximity to the Boardwalk/other Epcot area resorts!!

Animal Kingdom Lodge has some of the most unique flavours. My husband and I love Sanaa especially. The aromas as you walk into that restaurant almost always bowl us over – in a good way. Love it!

Saratoga – because Disney Springs is a quick walk to every type of food you could ever want.
    I’d pick Riviera 2nd

Animal Kingdom Lodge without a doubt. You’ve got 3 destination eateries in Sanaa, Boma, and Jiko, plus The Mara for quick serve and Victoria Falls lounge. While other resorts have some nice options (Topolino’s) I feel that overall AKL can’t be beat. Obviously the Grand Floridian would be a close second with Victoria and Albert’s, Citrico’s, Narcoosee’s, Enchanted Rose, and the Gasparilla Island Grille. I’m still giving AKL the edge for it’s more unique dining experiences.

Grand Flo Cafe, V & A, and our favorite for all of our Anniversary Dinners is Citricos. Always excellent food and service.

I chose AKL/AKV because of the unique offerings they have at each restaurant. All four options are above average to excellent. A quick snack all the way to a romantic date, it has it all.

Although I’m an owner at AKV and Riv, I think GF has the multiplicity of choices AKV has, but with a wider range of choice and cuisines that will suit more palates. Riv, despite the deserved acclaim that Topolino’s gets, is really a one restaurant resort. Yes, Primo Piatto is better than most QS, but there’s no mid price table service and too many missed opportunities for a resort themed to the world’s capital of cuisine. There should be a glorious cafe, an adorable bistrot and a window turning out pissaladière. And I don’t buy that Le Petit Café “becomes a wine bar at night.” I’ve been to wine bars and this isn’t the same atmosphere. This is a nice pastry shop serving wine.

Plenty of resorts have a good restaurant or two, but Saratoga Springs Resort has Disney Springs. If you are a foodie, this is where you want to rest between delicious food and beverage. There is so much to choose from, there are so many cuisines to choose from!

Sanaa is so unique and Boma rocks all three meals.

Brisket app at Geyser Point. Served by the ever-affable Josh.

My favorite resort as a foodie is AKL/AKV. With Boma, Jiko, Sanaa and the Mara there is so much choice for good food and unique atmosphere. I particularly enjoy the variety of culinary choices at Boma and Sanaa. The view at Sanaa can’t be beat.

The undisputed best answer, IMHO, is VGF. This is greatly substantiated by claiming the perennial AAA Five Diamond gastronomical juggernaut V&A’s! Any self-proclaimed ‘foodie’ probably prides themselves in discerning the often semantical, petty ‘nit-picking’ of what defines a restaurant of deserving a Michelin star or a AAA rating. However, those who have made a living at this can unequivocally say that V&A’s is a bucket-list global worthy dining experience. If you can piggy-back off that and counter with Citrico’s is and what Narcoosea’s may look like, and you may have the CHAMP.

I said Boardwalk Villas because being there, you get the choice of Flying Fish, Trattoria al Forno, Big River Grill, AbracadaBar, a Pizza place, kiosks with hot dogs etc, and I think there is a deli coming soon. So lots of choices on the Boardwalk.

I had to go with Boardwalk, because it itself has Trattoria Il Forno, Flying Fish, A magic themed drink bar, Margarita Stand, Pizza Stand, only Brewery in Disney, Ice Cream Shop and Bakery but also because 1) proximity to Epcot restaurants / Food and Wine Festival, 2) walking distance to Swan and Dolphin restaurants which are too often overlooked (Kimonos, Is Mulino, Shula’s)

If we’re talking on resort food ONLY it has to be AKL, but shout out to SSR for being able to walk to Disney springs and get the BEST foods available anywhere on property

Resort by itself has to be AKL (both sections)
Resort area has to be BWV or any hotel in that area. You can walk to any of the 5 hotels in the area or walk over to world showcase.
