Paul and I spent this morning on hold with Member Services, hoping to be among the first to book Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge. The DVC Member cash booking window opened today, October 6th, at 9 a.m., allowing Members who qualify for direct benefits to call and reserve a stay.
Unfortunately, DVC does not publish cash pricing in advance, so Members have to wait until they reach Member Services to find out what their stay will cost. With rates varying by room type, view category, and travel dates, we wanted to share the pricing we gathered while booking for the resort’s first few opening days.
Lakeshore Lodge Opening Day Pricing
For July 1st, 2027, we received the following nightly quotes from Member Services:
Duo Studio, Preferred View: $494.44 per night
Deluxe Studio, Preferred View: $628.60 per night
Resort Studio, Club Access: $869.92 per night
One Bedroom Villa, Resort View: $858.10 per night
One Bedroom Villa, Preferred View: $961.04 per night
Two Bedroom Villa, Preferred View: $1,587.10 per night
Two Bedroom Lakehouse: $3,621.37 per night
These are the quotes we received for opening day, rather than a complete rate list for opening week. Pricing includes all taxes and fees. Because you’re trying to book at the same time, it’s difficult to get pricing for multiple rooms at a time and we don’t want to take up too much time when others are trying to book.

Additional Lakeshore Lodge Booking Dates
More Lakeshore Lodge booking windows are opening over the next two days. On Wednesday, October 7, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to book cash reservations at Lakeshore Lodge.
Then, on Thursday, October 8, cash reservations will open to the general public, allowing any guest to book an eligible Lakeshore Lodge stay.
The biggest unknown at this point is still when Disney Vacation Club Members will be able to book Lakeshore Lodge using points. Disney has not yet announced that booking date, and we’ll share additional details as soon as more information becomes available.
An Earlier Stay Through the First Wave Event
Although Lakeshore Lodge officially opens on July 1st, 2027, DVC is also offering a special First Wave event, giving Members an opportunity to stay before the official opening using points. That event has separate booking details from the Member cash booking window that opened today.
Find out more about First Wave booking here.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open July 1, 2027, and we’ll continue following each new Letters from Lakeshore update as Disney reveals more.
How Lakeshore Lodge Opening Day Pricing Compares
To put Lakeshore Lodge’s opening-day cash rates into perspective, we also looked at July 1, 2027 rack rates at several other Walt Disney World Deluxe and DVC accommodations. In a number of categories, Lakeshore Lodge is coming in noticeably below comparable rooms elsewhere on property.
| Resort / Room Type | July 1, 2027 Nightly Price |
|---|---|
| Lakeshore Lodge Duo Studio, Preferred View | $494.44 |
| Riviera Resort Tower Studio | $612.00 |
| Lakeshore Lodge Deluxe Studio, Preferred View | $628.60 |
| Riviera Resort Deluxe Studio, Preferred View | $856.00 |
| Grand Floridian Deluxe Studio, Preferred View | $889.00 |
| Polynesian Island Tower Deluxe Studio, Preferred View | $993.00 |
| Polynesian Longhouse Deluxe Studio | $993.00 |
| Lakeshore Lodge Resort Studio, Club Access | $869.92 |
| Polynesian Deluxe Studio, Club Level | $1,086.00 |
| Lakeshore Lodge One-Bedroom Villa, Preferred View | $961.04 |
| Riviera Resort One-Bedroom Villa, Preferred View | $1,175.00 |
| One-Bedroom Villa, Resort View | $1,195.00 |
| Lakeshore Lodge Two-Bedroom Lakehouse | $3,621.37 |
| Copper Creek Cascade Cabin | $3,269.00 |
| Polynesian Bungalow | $4,128.00 |
The early comparison is especially interesting in the studio and one-bedroom categories. Lakeshore Lodge’s $494.44 Duo Studio comes in well below Riviera’s $612 Tower Studio, while its $628.60 Deluxe Studio Preferred View is more than $200 below comparable preferred-view studios at Riviera and Grand Floridian.
At the other end of the spectrum, the $3,621.37 Two-Bedroom Lakehouse falls between two of Walt Disney World’s other high-end standalone accommodations. It is priced above a Copper Creek Cascade Cabin at $3,269, but below a Polynesian Bungalow at $4,128 for the same night.
These are rack rates found on the Disney World website for July 1 so they may not take specific discounts into consideration.
