September 8, 2025Definitely not for us! We decided to stock up on resale contracts at our favorite DVC resorts (AKV, BCV) ahead of retirement so we’d be able to make three eight night trips a year during the colder months (early December, late January and early March – we can hit all our favorite EPCOT festivals!) in 1 or 2 BR villas. It has worked great for us but has in no way enticed us to consider moving there. Love the Northeast and won’t go near FL in the summer plus the current real estate issues and increased cost of living would also be big deterrents to a an actual relocation to FL.

September 8, 2025I love Walt Disney World and Miami. Other than that, personally, I have no reason to even remotely consider living in the state of Florida. Thankfully, it’s a big world and to each their own regarding where to live.
