Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is undergoing a major expansion that will double the size of the land. With construction well underway, Disney has announced that the two new attractions, Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, will both open in 2028.
Avengers Infinity Defense
Avengers Infinity Defense will bring guests right into the action as new recruits join the Avengers to battle King Thanos. For the attraction, several heroes will be reprising their roles including:
- Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel
- Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye
- Anthony Mackie as Captain America
- Chris Hemsworth as Thor
- Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man
The attraction’s Infinity Transport ride vehicles will take guests to various multiverse-jumping scenes, such as Asgard, New York City, and Wakanda, using a blend of vehicle motion, large physical sets, and screens that respond to the guests’ changing point of view, and large-scale environments.
Stark Flight Lab
The second new attraction coming to Avengers Campus is Stark Flight Lab. Guests will get a tour of Tony Stark’s lab and get to ride on “gyro-kinetic pods” that will roll on a track and connect to a robot arm to simulate what it’s like to fly like an Avenger with several high-speed maneuvers.
