With Coco 2 on the way, Imagineers are sharing more about the first ever Coco ride coming to Disneyland Resort. Construction is already in progress near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure.
Celebrating the characters and songs of Coco, the family-friendly ride will reference both the original Coco film as well as the upcoming sequel as the ride’s storyline will pick up a year after the first film. Throughout the boat ride, guests will travel into the Land of the Dead and visit familiar characters, such as Miguel, Dante, and Héctor Rivera. This ride will feature the latest audio-animatronic technology and will be perfect for guests of all ages since there will be no height requirement.
