The BoardWalk is once again hosting the Disney Vacation Club Halloween Meet & Treat for 2026. These Membership Magic events are available for 3 dates in October from 11am to 1pm. They are open to eligible DVC Members (DVC-Y) with qualifying resort reservations booked with their eligible DVC Membership on one of the event dates. Members can bring up to 4 guests for a total party of 5 people.
While the October 5 and October 12 events have already passed, there is one last meet and treat scheduled for Monday, October 26. If you plan on attending, here’s what you can expect at this spooktacular event!
Location and Logistics
This year, the meet and treat returned to Atlantic Dance Hall instead of the BoardWalk Conference Center where it was hosted in 2025. The larger venue gave guests more space to mingle freely with characters and even offered some small tables and seating for guests waiting for friends and family.
To prove eligibility for the event, cast members scan your MagicBand. For the October 12 event, there was no line outside of the building. However, the line within Atlantic Dance Hall for character photos took about 30 minutes, so although it’s a short event (only 2 hours in total), be prepared to wait in line if you want photos.

Character Meet & Greets
The event featured appearances by:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Goofy
- Clarabelle Cow
- Queen of Hearts
- Big Bad Wolf
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Clarabelle were roaming around the dance floor and mingling with guests or dancing together whereas the Queen of Hearts and Big Bad Wolf each had more formal meet and greets with lines and their own special backdrop for photo ops.
Although there were no PhotoPass photographers onsite, cast members were able to take pictures for guests using their phones. In lieu of autographs, cast members distributed post cards with the characters’ signatures printed on them.

Candy
Of course, this wouldn’t be a meet and treat without some treats! Upon entering the event, cast members gave out Halloween DVC tote bags that guests could use to hold their candy. A variety of Mars candies were distributed on the dance floor, such as M&Ms, Snickers, Skittles, Starbursts, Three Musketeers, and Twix.
