Riviera Owners Get an Exclusive DVC Add-On Offer

Riviera Resort

Disney Vacation Club is making a final push to sell out Disney’s Riviera Resort, and this time the pitch is aimed squarely at current owners. On October 12, 2026, Riviera Members received an email offering an exclusive Riviera add-on offer of $4 off per point when adding 75 to 99 points at the resort. That is a smaller point tier than Disney typically rewards, since nearly every DVC add-on incentive starts at 100 points. The email also repeated the milestone we covered last week, noting that Disney’s Riviera Resort is now 95% sold.

What You Need to Know

  • Who qualifies: Members who already own at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
  • The offer: $4 off per point when adding 75 to 99 Riviera points, a credit of $300 to $396.
  • Timing: The offer started October 6, 2026. Savings expire 7 days after your sales tour, and all tours must be completed by December 9, 2026.
  • Requirement: You must complete a sales tour by phone, online, or in person.
  • Fine print: The credit does not count toward the 10% minimum down payment, closing costs are extra, and the offer cannot be combined with other select offers or discounts.

Why a 75 to 99 Point Tier Stands Out

This offer fills a gap in Disney’s current incentive lineup. In the fall 2026 DVC direct incentives, the Riviera Member add-on savings start at 100 points with $10 off per point and climb to $29 off per point at 250 to 299 points. Members adding fewer than 100 points have had nothing to work with until now.

That gap matters because a lot of owners are not looking for another 100 points. Many Riviera Members bought in at 150 points and may now be realizing they want one more studio night during a busy season, or just a little more flexibility for a deluxe studio upgrade to a one-bedroom. A 75-point add-on fits that kind of Member far better than a 100-point contract, and Disney seems to know it.

The Riviera add-on offer is a separate option rather than something that stacks on top of the fall incentives. The tiers do not overlap, and Disney’s terms say the offer cannot be combined with other select offers. Think of it as Disney extending the incentive ladder down one more rung, specifically for owners at the resort it most wants to sell out.

How Much Does the Riviera Add-On Offer Save?

At Riviera’s current direct price of $243 per point, the $4 credit brings the effective price down to $239 per point. Here is how that works out at the ends of the eligible range, compared with the nearest fall incentive tiers.

Add-on sizeSavings per pointEffective price per pointTotal savingsPurchase price before closing costs
75 points (owner offer)$4$239$300$17,925
99 points (owner offer)$4$239$396$23,661
100 points (fall add-on)$10$233$1,000$23,300
150 points (fall add-on)$21$222$3,150$33,300

The savings are modest. At 75 points, $300 off an $18,225 purchase is less than 2%. Nobody should buy a Riviera add-on because of this credit alone, but for an owner who was already planning a smaller add-on, it is found money.

Who Should Consider This Offer

The best fit is a Riviera owner who already wants a small add-on and plans to buy direct anyway. If you were going to add 75 to 90 points before December 9th, this credit lowers the cost a little without changing your plans. The offer also gives Members a reason to buy before Riviera’s sold-out pricing arrives, which we expect to add at least $10 to $20 per point once Disney declares the resort sold out.

The case is weaker for owners who are mostly focused on cost. Riviera resale contracts averaged around $114 per point in September 2026, less than half the direct price. Resale Riviera points come with resale restrictions, meaning they can only be used at Riviera. Direct points do not carry those restrictions and can be used across DVC resorts. For an owner who plans to stay at Riviera year after year, resale is still the much cheaper path. For an owner who wants the flexibility to book Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower, or Lakeshore Lodge down the road, adding direct points carries real value that a price comparison does not capture.

Keep the contract length in mind too. Riviera’s ownership runs through January 31, 2070, which is among the longest remaining terms of any Walt Disney World DVC resort. That makes an add-on here a long-term commitment, both in purchase price and in the annual dues that come with every point you add.

The Bottom Line on the Riviera Add-On Offer

The Riviera add-on offer is a small incentive, but it is a smart one. It gives owners who only want a modest number of extra points a discount that did not exist in Disney’s fall lineup, and it gives Disney a way to chip away at the last 5% of the resort. If you are a Riviera owner who was already thinking about adding 75 to 97 points direct, this is worth a call to your DVC Guide before December 9th, 2026.
