DVC Fan Madness Bracket Challenge – The Results

I think two simple words can sum up the results of this year’s DVC Fan Madness Bracket Challenge – Stormalong Bay.

Over the past four weeks, we have asked our DVC Fan community to vote for the Disney Vacation Club Resort they would most like to vacation at this Summer! Week after week, we watched as one of our beloved home resorts were knocked out of the tournament one by one. We cried, we yelled, we cheered. In the end, however, only one can be crowned champion…

The Results

In the end, this year’s tournament came down to two teams we know and love and have debated many times before:

• Disney’s Beach Club Villas
• Disney’s BoardWalk Villas

In what was a very close game several months ago flip-flopped into a bit of a runaway victory for our champion Disney’s Beach Club Villas!

Taking 59.9% of the vote, Beach Club Villas pulled away early and never let off the gas, cruising its way to the first-ever DVC Fan Madness title.

If we look at what sets this resort apart as the best to vacation at this Summer, I go back to the two words I used above – Stormalong Bay. This three-acre water wonderland features a gently sloping sandy beach, lazy river, three whirlpool spas, an elevated tanning deck, kiddie pools, and miniature waterslide. The ultimate highlight is its 210-foot-long waterslide, which is the highest and longest resort slide at Walt Disney World. This truly is the ultimate DVC destination for the Summer!
