In line with the closures at both the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, Disney Vacation Club has announced select Membership Magic events and experiences that will be canceled through March 31st, 2020.
These cancellations include the following:
At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida
- DVC Member Soarin’ Around the World Tour
- DVC Member Fireworks Cruise
- DVC Member Lounge at Epcot – closed March 15 – 31, 2020
At the Disneyland Resort in California
- DVC Member Soarin’ Around the World Tour
- DVC Member Fitness in the Park
- DVC Member Neighborhood Power Walk
- DVC Member Beverage Tastings at Napa Rose
- DVC Member Night at Splitsville Luxury Lanes™
Emphasized in the announcement was the fact that select activities at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas, Ko Olina, Hawai’i are currently continuing to operate as scheduled.

March 14, 2020Disney needs to be responsible and shut all the resorts and Disney Springs down ASAP. They should also extend expiry dates for points for all affected DVC members.
