Summer 2026 DVC Direct Incentives Revealed

Fort Wilderness Cabins

Disney Vacation Club has unveiled its Summer 2026 direct sales incentives, bringing stronger discounts across nearly every actively selling resort compared to the Spring offers. Existing Members can save up to $13,455 on larger add-on purchases, while first-time buyers can save up to $21,956 depending on the resort and number of Vacation Points purchased.

This latest incentive period also introduces Welcome Home Weeks discounts, an additional layer of savings for existing Members that boosts discounts on many point tiers through August 26, 2026. Meanwhile, the standard Summer incentives for new buyers continue beyond that date, giving first-time purchasers a longer booking window than current Members receiving the Welcome Home Weeks bonus.

If you’ve been waiting for stronger direct purchase incentives, this might easily be one of the most attractive rounds Disney Vacation Club has offered in 2026.

Best Value Tier (Member Add-On) and Thoughts

  • The Cabins at Fort Wilderness received the biggest improvement over the Spring promotion, with savings increasing substantially at every larger point tier (150+ points.
  • Disneyland Hotel saw one of the largest jumps of the summer, particularly at 150 points and above where discounts nearly doubled in some tiers.
  • Riviera incentives rebounded after consecutive seasonal decreases, making this the strongest Riviera offer we’ve seen in several months.
  • Aulani now offers the richest discounts available for existing Members purchasing 200 points or more, topping out at nearly $15,000 in savings.
  • Polynesian also improved across every major tier, although it still trails the other active resorts in overall discount value.

Best Value Tier (New Member Incentives) and Thoughts

  • Every resort except Polynesian received stronger incentives than the Spring 2026 promotion.
  • Disneyland Hotel is the biggest winner this season, with savings increasing dramatically across all purchase levels after two consecutive rounds of reductions.
  • Fort Wilderness continues to lead the pack for buyers interested in the newest resort, with another noticeable increase across every tier.
  • Aulani improved again, especially for buyers purchasing 200 points or more, making it one of the strongest overall values in the current lineup.
  • Riviera also sees meaningful increases, reversing the downward trend from the previous two incentive periods.
  • Polynesian is the lone exception, with discounts slightly lower than Spring at every purchase level.

How These Offers Compare

A Much Stronger Summer Incentive Round

After a relatively modest Spring promotion, Disney Vacation Club significantly increased discounts for Summer 2026. Nearly every actively selling resort saw improved pricing, particularly for purchases of 150 points or more.

The most noticeable improvements came at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, where discounts jumped substantially across every tier. Riviera also recovered after several rounds of declining offers, while Fort Wilderness continues to receive aggressive incentives as Disney works to move inventory.

Aulani remains one of the best values in the lineup, particularly for buyers purchasing 250 points or more, while Polynesian continues to receive the lightest discounts despite small improvements for existing Members.

Welcome Home Weeks Changes the Equation

The biggest addition this season is Welcome Home Weeks, which gives existing Members an extra layer of savings through August 26, 2026.

Rather than simply increasing the base incentives, Disney separated this bonus from the standard Summer promotion. This creates two different expiration dates depending on the buyer.

That’s unusual.

Historically, Disney Vacation Club has typically aligned the expiration dates for both new Member incentives and Member add-on incentives. This summer, however, existing Members have a shorter window to receive the enhanced Welcome Home Weeks discounts, while new Member incentives continue beyond that promotional period.

That may encourage current Members considering an add-on to make a decision sooner rather than waiting until later in the season.

Additional Cast Member and Military Savings

Disney is also offering additional savings for eligible buyers.

Eligible Disney Cast Members can receive an additional $2,250 discount on a 150-point purchase at participating resorts through October 5, 2026, with additional savings available at higher point levels.

This same $2,250 discount is also being offered to qualifying members of the U.S. military.

Magical Beginnings: Another Way to Save

In addition to these direct incentives, eligible buyers may also qualify for Magical Beginnings, which allows purchasers to sell back their first Use Year’s Vacation Points in exchange for cash.

For buyers who don’t plan to travel immediately after closing, Magical Beginnings can significantly reduce the effective cost of ownership when combined with the current Summer incentives.

As always, availability and reimbursement rates are determined by Disney Vacation Club and can change over time.

What You Need to Know

  • New Summer incentives launched today.
  • Existing Members receive additional Welcome Home Weeks savings through August 26, 2026.
  • New Member offers extend beyond the Welcome Home Weeks promotion.
  • Disneyland Hotel, Riviera, Fort Wilderness and Aulani all received stronger incentives than Spring.
  • Polynesian is the only active resort with generally lower new Member incentives than the previous round.
  • Buyers considering an add-on may want to act before the Welcome Home Weeks bonus expires.

Should You Act Now?

If you’ve been waiting for a stronger incentive period, this is arguably the best direct purchase opportunity we’ve seen all year.

Existing Members benefit the most thanks to Welcome Home Weeks, particularly on purchases of 150 points or more. First-time buyers also have significantly better pricing at nearly every resort compared to Spring, making this an attractive time to purchase directly from Disney.

That said, resale pricing still offers a substantially lower cost per point at many sold-out resorts. Buyers should continue comparing both options carefully, especially if direct Membership Extras are not a priority.

Final Thoughts

Best overall direct savings: Aulani for large contracts

Most improved offer: The Villas at Disneyland Hotel

Best value for existing Members: Fort Wilderness and Aulani at 200+ points

The Summer 2026 incentive period marks a noticeable shift from the more conservative Spring offers. With stronger discounts, the introduction of Welcome Home Weeks, and separate promotional expiration dates for new and existing Members, Disney has created one of the most compelling direct purchase opportunities of the year.

Whether you’re purchasing your first Disney Vacation Club Membership or adding on to an existing contract, now is an excellent time to compare the latest direct pricing against the resale market before deciding which path offers the best long-term value.
