We’ve now got information on the booking windows for The Villas at Disneyland Hotel for Members looking to book using DVC points!
Members who purchase a new or add-on contract at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel can use their Home Resort Priority Window of 11-months beginning May 16th, 2023.
Members who don’t own at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel can utilize their points at the 7-month window beginning July 27th, 2023. It’s important to note that since this property will have the same restrictions as Riviera. This will apply to ownership interests purchased on the secondary market after January 19th, 2019. Owners who purchased before that time will not be affected by these restrictions.
For both types of eligible members, the first date possible to book (pending availability) will be opening day, September 28th, 2023. For those who booked with cash like us for the opening days, we are unsure of the odds at finding point availability, but will certainly try. It is likely there will be a lot of cash bookings dropping off as members are able to secure reservations with points.
Keep in mind that the transient taxes will apply (chart below) to point bookings, but it’s still less overall than the current cash rates, which do have the transient taxes built-in.

April 19, 2023Hi Amy… thanks for this info but can you clarify,
So if I understand what you have stated,
1) I am a “blue card” member at a different resort.
2) I purchased those points prior to January 19, 2019
3) Assuming availability, I can book a room seven months after September 28,2023?
4) Therefore, I will be able to boo April 28th 2024 or later? (my 7 month window)
